CADA-5 Cruiser Comps

So, I have been working on a story for a little over a year now and have been slowly fleshing out designs for certain key elements whenever I get the chance.  This is the first iteration (done last year) of a hovercraft/cruiser in the tech-nouveau style I'm trying to nail down:

I wasn't happy with it so that I had a chance over this winter break to redesign and play around a bit:
